FINALLY. Stupid blogger has been having problems. I can now finally blog. =_=
Let's do it backwards! MONDAY. Which was yesterday! Couldn't wake up in the morning. But there was no point waking up either because it was raining so I couldn't have rollerbladed. Woke up at 12.30 instead. Showered and everything, Daddy sent me to Katong Shopping Centre at 2pm. At first went to Daddy's 3rd sister's shop to remind her to come to my house on the 23rd for some praying thing. Then went out to meet Lyndon at the PosB atm machine. Met Fang Xiang first, then Jun Yu, then Lyndon. Went up to House of Pool but it was fully packed to the max. Was about to leave for Classic Pool at Parkway but when I called Chun Chen, he asked us to put our names on waiting list. In the end the guys went to put my name. =_= Thanks ar. While waiting, Lyndon and Fang Xiang played a game of billiard for f-o-r-t-y f-i-v-e minutes. Madness lol. Jun Yu asked for the 3 hour pack. The guys played for about half an hour and Chun Chen came. Everyone lost to Chun Chen lol. Everyone as in Jun Yu, Fang Xiang and Lyndon. The only times they won were when Chun Chen tyco foul. =D Jazreel also came along. THAT was when I had a pal because Jazreel doesn't play pool either! Yay! =P When it was FINALLY 6pm, we left for dinner. It was raining but after we went to the toilet and came out, the rain stoppeed temporarily. Took bus 14 down to Lavender. Walked to Golden Mile Plaza (I think) for the steamboat. We ate the S$44.50 set one, plus a plate of chicken rice. The chicken rice was good, and so was the steamboat! We also had two big bottles of Heineken. Each of us had two cups while Lyndon only had half. Enjoyed every bit of it. Then we went out and decided to take a cab back to our respective homes. But the cab queue at the steamboat place did not move a single bit and not a single cab came in! So we walked in the rain to the next block where the taxi queue WAS longer but also where the taxis were coming. So we queued up and got a cab in about 15 minutes. Got home safely. Was a small gathering but I really enjoyed it. A lot. =)
Next. SUNDAY. Church in the morning. Abel was going on and on about his DVDs. Lol, ok, no, not Abel's DVDs but Steven's. Abel was very afraid that Steven would forget to bring the DVDs. Steven was late for half an hour! But it was expected =P. Steven's mum even asked me to "make noise when Steven arrives." Ha! His mum's really really friendly =). Went in with Steven, Abel and his girlfriend. Sermon was about the Prodigal Son. Pastor Patrick from ZPH preached about it before heh. After service, Abel said there was gonna be free lunch. Everyone stayed around the canteen area but after a while they still decided to eat at Katong Shopping Centre. Chicken Rice. Steven and I took the bus down to Katong Shopping Centre while the rest had their own transport down. By the time we reached there, the food court was p-a-c-k-e-d. So we walked and walked (you should have seen how freaked out I was when I walked past my aunt's shop) and ended up eating at Saprino's. Some went to have Katong Laksa though. My table, consisting of Calvin, Steven, Kezia and I, ordered two pizzas. First one was some canadian one and the second one some pesto one. Our table ordered the first but the other tables had their pizzas first! Lol. We also ordered an extra plate of cheese bites because the table behind us ordered one plate, we tried and loved it. Our pizzas came. THE CANADIAN ONE WAS SUPERB TO THE MAX. All four of us had two slices each. For the pesto one, I could only take one slice. Same for Kezia. The boys took two. And couldn't eat any further. We finished the cheese bites and the cheese bread sticks (Steven ordered it later on). Kezia and the rest left earlier for their things. Left Calvin, Steven and I. Three of us had nothing to do so the boys decided to play pool at House of Pool. They played for an hour. Then we went to take buses. Calvin took his bus 12 home and Steven and I took bus 14 to his house. 'Cos Steven offered to let me play with his dog. His dog's called Angel. Only a few months old, under training. And it's awefully cute! Although it poo-ed in Sarah's room xD. Super cute la can! I had a cup of wine too. At around 6.30, we left his house. Took a bus down to Tampinese Mall. Steven went to shop while I took bus 10 home. Enjoyed Sunday too. Especially appreciated the advices Steven gave me =). Thanks!
Ok I have to do FRIDAY and SATURDAY together because they're connected. Really. Friday. I only woke up at around...12? Showered and everything. Aunt Siew Keow and Samantha came at around 1 plus. Samantha showered, I changed and got ready, and out we go! We went to Raffles City. Went straight up to the food court first because Aunt Siew Keow was thirsty. She bought me, Samantha and herself a cup of watermelon juice each. Then she ordered another cup of tek tarik. Then ordered a plate of tissue prata. The tissue prata was GENG man, not forgetting the awesome curry. Then we walked around. Spent the most time at Precious Thots 'cos halfway through Aunt Siew Keow got a call so Samantha and I were stuck in Precious Thots the whole time. The things in Precious Thots were so pretty and cute and sweet and everything ok! When Aunt Siew Keow was done, we walked around the first floor where Samantha looked around at the Barbie dolls. Can you imagine she's 10 this year? *covers eyes* We also went to Swarovski because Aunt Siew Keow wanted to look at some Christmas ornaments. Then we went to CitiLink because Aunt Siew Keow was in search for a jewellery shop. Outside Citigems, Samantha pointed at this really sweet looking cross pendant and said to me "you wear this to your church ok?" I told her I would IF I had the money =D. So we went in. Looked at all the cross pendants. Aunt Siew Keow looked at me and asked if I prefered the sweet looking cross pendant Samantha pointed out or the cross ear studs. Both were of same prices so I really didn't know what to say. Rejected her but she insisted on me choosing. So I chose the sweet looking cross pendant since I'm in need of one at that moment. Aunt Siew Keow bought one for me, together with a chain, and another for Samantha because Samantha was going on and on about how she wanted that pendant too. Now you know why an item is crossed out on my wishlist somewhere on the left. =) Aunt Siew Keow also bought herself a cross pendant. Hers was made in such a way that the diamonds formed a cross. Mine was a cross with four small little diamonds in the middle. I could tell Aunt Siew Keow was really happy. So was I. For her and myself. =) We then slowly made our way to Aunt Siew Keow's club. Some Recreation Club at the Padang. Waited for Mummy in the Pool Side Cafe. When Mummy came, we ordered food. I had Seafood Marina with white wine sauce, Mummy had Beef Hor Fun, Aunt Siew Keow and Samantha each had a bowl of Laksa. All of us finished our food. Can you imagine? My 10 year old cousin could actually finish her humongous bowl of laksa all by herself? I was even struggling at the last few bits of my Seafood Marinara! She even ordered a bowl of Ice Kachang, expected me to help her with it (which I did, a little) but in the end Mummy finished the remaining HALF. When we were done, Mummy, Samantha and I walked to Esplanade. Saw some of Mrs Skipp's students. Ok, only two. We went in, all the way up to the circle seat level, and went down again to buy things. I bought a white tee that has "La Sylphide" printed on the front and a pair of wings printed on the back, both in gold. Samantha bought the black with white prints one. We both also had a programme each. I got the green one, Samantha got the red one. Mummy also signed up the Friends of SDT thing for me. I'm gonna get a free ticket for Swan Lake at the end of next year!!!!!!!!!! The performance wasn't as good as I expected. FU LIANG WASN'T DANCING THE LEAD ROLE. I should've asked Mummy to buy the 16th tickets. *mumble grumble*. Story was a tragedy. They used a lot of the songs RAD used for examinations. Wouldn't say it's boring but it really wasn't SDT's best choreography. They could've done MUCH better. When the show was done, we walked to the pick up point. Bluffed Samantha that we were gonna take bus 10 and that bus 10 would have a special service where by it'll drive in to the pick up point and specially pick Samantha, Mummy and I up. She actually believed =_=. Of course, Daddy came to pick us up. Forced Samantha to sleep by 12.15am. I love my first birthday+Christmas present. x)
Saturday? Woke up at 6.20am. Both Samantha and I. Samantha, Mummy and I went to ECP. I bladed as usual for two whole hours. The whole stretch of ECP, up and down. Managed to catch the sunrise again too! =D Mummy was done at around 9.45am. Had breakfast at Subway. Mummy was kicking up a fuss just because the aircon in Subway wasn't switched on and it was stuffy. I got pretty irritated. I had turkey breast. Loved it. Went home, all three of us showered and got ready. By the time we were done, it was already about 12.45. Germaine, Jojo and Ernest were all over at our house too. Mummy drove all of us down to Junction 8. Went in to Din Tai Fung (I think). Grandma, Aunt Siew Luan and her hubby were there already. Slowly the rest came. We started ordering and eating. The last ones to arrive were Aunt Siew Hwa, Aunt Siew Khim and her hubby. The meal totaled up to S$211++. I payed S$40. Don't know about the rest. It was supposed to be a treat for the Aunts but in the end some of the Aunts also payed a little because we, as in Germaine, Jojo and I, were short in cash. DID I MENTION THIS CUTE LITTLE BIG EYED BABY WAS STARING AT ME WHILE I WAS EATING????? Grandma and I kept making faces at the baby. I SO WANTED TO GO PINCH THE BABY'S CHEEKS OK! On the way out, Ernest, aged 9 this year, was going on and on about how he wanted to go to the Christmas carnival Aunt Siew Hwa, Aunt Siew Keow and Samantha was going. He didn't want to go to the show which his Mum paid tickets for already. Someone somehow managed to sweet talk him and he stopped crying. But he was still very grumpy though =D. Went to B1 to get beancurd for Greatgrandma because some of us will be visiting Greatgrandma at her house. In the end we forgot to ask for less sugar (but I somehow remembered to ask for less sugar for my beancurd+barley only =_=) so we bought something else for Greatgrandma (on top of the da-pau-ed Xiao Long Paus) and Mummy got the non-less sugar beancurd. Ok that was a whole bunch of rubbish english lol. Jojo also bought something for my Daddy because Daddy couldn't make it for the lunch. Ah Mah went with Aunt Siew Khim and her hubby to Greatgrandma's house, Germaine, Jojo, Ernest and I went with Mummy. At Greatgrandma's house, Grandaunt was there too. I could tell Greatgrandma was really happy to see such a crowd =). I was happy to see her happy. Hard to imagine how I nearly lost her. When I was in Australia. WHEN NO ONE TOLD ME. =_= We stayed for about an hour. Then we went home. I got home, washed myself up a little and went out again. Met Steven at Tampinese Mall because Steven wanted to buy some new clothes. Then we went back to Telok Kurau Park because CHRIST METHODIST CHURCH (CMC) HELD A CHRISTMAS PARTY THERE!!!!! The party was a success I have to say. Drama was good. So was carolling. AND EVERYTHING ELSE! Daddy and Mummy went down too! Steven got his parents, the head pastor of CMC and his wife, to come talk to my parents. I felt quite embarrassed because the whole time it was only Mummy talking and I could tell Daddy wasn't very much interested. He even rejected Pastor Edmund when he mentioned about the singing sessions in CMC. Daddy and Mummy went home after a while and I was left with Steven again. Steven ate a lot of the catered food lol. THE BALLOON MAN WAS REALLY GOOD WITH HIS BALLOONS! I especially liked the pair of teddy bears holding hands in a heart =D. Steven and I had our very late dinner at Cafe Cartel. Abel didn't join us. I had a cup of Cookies and Cream ice cream (it was totally powerful) and Steven had some fudge cake if I'm not wrong. Enjoyed the ice cream to the max. Steven sent me home again. Gave me advices too. Thanks a whole lot!
THURSDAY. I can only remember going out with Steven lol. Had dinner at Cine. The 24 hour place. The mozerella meat balls were aaaaawesome!!!!! Steven had some salad thingy lol. Steven's friend joined us too. Henry. It so happened that Henry was a guy who tried talking to me online quite some time ago lol. I didn't expect him to be Steven's camp mate and neither did he expect me to be Steven's church friend. Watched The Holiday. LOVED IT. I loved Kate Winslet's and Jude Law's British accent =D. After the movie, Steven and I hung around at Macs. Saw lots of transverstites walking pass lol. Also saw Fiona Xie. By 3am I was totally stoned out so we decided to go =P. Steven paid for my taxi fare AGAIN. =_= Rich people will always be rich people =D.
Ohoh, Steven's only a church friend hah. Not what some of you guys think. A very close friend I would say. A good advisor too!
Looking forward to the days ahead! x)
