TILL THEN.

Ok. This is most probably my last time blogging in Singapore until the next time I come back again. In 4 months' time. That SUCKS.

I was walking home alone the other day and my thoughts ran wild all over again. And as my thoughts ran wild, I realised my parents and I haven't flew together as a family for TWO YEARS.

The last time we flew together as a family would most probably be the time we went Cairns together when I was 15. Then Mummy and I went to Malaysia together during the middle of my secondary 4 year. We didn't go anywhere when I turned 16 at the end of 2005. Then Mummy and I flew to Australia together. The rest of the time I've been flying alone. Daddy and Mummy flew together numorous times to and from Perth.

Maybe that's the reason why I'm a tinsy winsy bit excited about this trip. But on a whole, I do not want to go back to Perth at all. Sigh.

Thursday I went out at night. Met Dai Yu, Mitchel and two other guys. Ate at Burger King. Slacked around at the water breaker. The starts were so so so so so lovely. It'll be another four months till I see the Singapore stars again. =\ Oh wells.

The guys walked me home. Heh thanks. I'm really gonna miss you guys. And DAI YU stop guessing my height will you!!!!!!!!!!

Friday...I had a facial appointment. Again, yes, lol. After facial, Mummy and I walked around Parkway. Didn't really buy anything. Mummy bought a blouse though. And I bought the Adidas perfume! I so love that smell.

Met Simon at Suntec City at around 7.15pm. We walked over to Millenia Walk and it took us some time to find Bakerzin lol. Food was AWESOME. I super super SUPER loved the smoked salmon salad. And their Al Funghi was mmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!

Simon wanted to go look at the lights at Space but it wasn't open. So we walked back to Suntec City. Decided to watch a movie. Protege! C'mon, repeat after me, Pro-de-jeh! =D

After buying the tickets, we walked around Suntec City but we had no where to go. So we went back up, bought drinks at the food court, drank and chatted, and went in for the movie.

I'M SO GLAD I WATCHED THAT MOVIE BEFORE I LEAVE SINGAPORE MAN! That movie was cool+awesome+shoking+scary+sweet! Very very very unique storyline. And something really cute in it too! As in, reeeaaallyyy cuuuuuuuuuute!!!!!!!!!!

Went home after the movie 'cos it was getting late. Thanks for the night, Simon =). I'm glad I met up with you again before I leave!

Saturday, which was yesterday, was Chinese New Year's Eve. Didn't do much though. The only highlight of the day was dinner. Which was at...4pm. Lol. It was a small, simple, cozy reunion dinner. Just my parents and I. Simple dishes.

It felt really good though. 'Cos it's been so long since we actually sat down and ate together. Been too busy. The dishes were home cooked. Traditional dishes. Absolutely loved them.

After dinner, my parents and I went to the airport for early luggage check-in. Ok, I know what you're about to say. "Kiasu". HAHA. Don't look at me.

After checking in, we went to Giant at Bedok. I got marshmallows with chocolate filling! It was yummmmm man! Finished the whole bag on my own in just a few minutes LOL.

Counted-down at home. =)

TODAY. HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO ALL AGAIN!!!!! Had breakfast at home with my parents. Showered, changed, everything, and off we went to Grandma's house!

I ATE GRANDMA'S MEE SUA! She made a special bowl for me heh. Got my ang paus from the aunts and uncles, and ofcourse, from Grandma. x)

The whole group of us left for Greatgrandma's house at around eleven. My parents and I were the first to reach. Haha. Greatgrandma seemed more happy when she got the mandarin oranges from me as compared to from Daddy and Mummy hahahahaha.

Lunch started at around noon. Really sumptous meal. =D Traditional home cooked food again!

I also got more ang paos. From the Grandaunts and their married childs. AND also from Greatgrandma!

We left for home at around 2pm.

It's really funny if you ask me. How my parents and I leave home as a family to meet the rest at Grandma's house. Then all the Aunts and Uncles and cousins with Grandma and my family leave as another big family to meet the whooole family at Greatgrandma's house. I always loved Chinese New Year because of that.

And what do you do when you have two really cute uncles that are not available? Either attached or too old? You sidh and go "what happened to the guys these days?!" Hahaha kiddin' kiddin'. =)

I was telling Mummy how I liked Uncle Kheing Joo's hair. The colour (it was black, highlighted red) and the cut. Then when we were having our lunch at the table (there were THREE huge tables by the way and it was still not enough), Uncle Kheing Joo said he liked my hair lol and was asking where I did it. XD Uncle Kheing Joo's my favourite of all favourite uncle haha.

Nearly cried, though. 'Cos I was hugging all my relatives for the last time before I fly. Especially when I hugged Grandma. Was actually tearing. Sigh. I'll miss Grandma. THE MOST.

Ok. I'm going. Before I start crying all over again. Cya in Perth!

SUMMARY.

Last Friday I went out with Sherry. Ate at New York New York. I had some al funghi with grilled chicken. It was HALF A CHICKEN, mind you. And I had a cup of root beer float. Nearly exploded.

Watched Miss Potter at Marina Square's Golden Village. Sherry treated me to popcorn. How nice of her x). Thank you girl!

Movie was great. Made me understand more about the history of the paintings lol. Sad and sweet story at the same time. Real life story, that is. Nice setting. Lovely accent.

After the movie...we went home. When I got home, I rested for a while and started preparing to go out for dinner. Dinner was horrendous. With an Aunt who was one whole hour late, coming in with a black face, demanding for this and that. Service wasn't any better either. Food? Don't ask.

Saturday...I've forgotten what I did on Saturday. Crap. OH. Went shopping with Mummy. Started off at Plaza Singapura (PS). We ate at Ichiban Sushi first. I had their sushis. Mummy had mixed tempura set.

I didn't take any premium dishes though. Don't want Mummy having a heart attack looking at the bill. I loved the cheese sushi. AND the mochis. AND NOT FORGETTING their peach ice cream. Awesome.

I bought my ushering clothes. At a really good price. Bought a top from M)phosis. Bought The Time Traveller's Wife from Times. Not forgetting the two inflatable bolsters at Carrefour.

Went home at around 5 to put down our things, rested for half an hour and we were out again. This time to Parkway.

Had a drink at Coffeebean first, though. Then went to Esprit. Was only planning to get the nail polish but we got a discount from the lucky dip so I got another top. For S$31.90, originally S$39.90. Went to Isetan. I got TWO PAIRS of shoes! Ok. One pumps the other flipflops. Not really flipflops. Uh. Sandals. Right, sandals.

Dinner? Mummy had bak chor mee. I had pulut teringu. Awesome to the max. After that? We went HOME.

Sunday. Service in the morning. It was my last time attending CMC service until I come back again in July. But nobody in church seemed to care. *shrugs* Went home straight after service. Made some pancakes to eat. With strawberry filling.

Went to Grandma's house in the afternoon. At around 3pm. Gave her a container of the cookies I baked. And she was really happy. When she saw how I happily ate her pistachio nuts, she gave me this BIG bag of pistachio nuts to bring home =_=.

I just so so so so so love Grandma x).

Got home, changed and went out for ballet. Last ballet lesson. Everyone was asking me to go back again when I'm back in July =). I'll miss them big time. Y'know, like, BIG TIME. =D. How big a difference. Compared to church.

Ballet lesson was good. Learnt so many many MANY new things again. Worked on abs. Really really really loved it. I'm so gonna miss attending ballet lessons with this bunch of crazy people x).

Monday. The moment I woke up, I walked to Parkway for lunch 'cos parents weren't home. Ate at Pastamania. Prawns and shrooms. Lousy. Then I went to eat smoked salmon croissant from a bakery at the basement of Parkway (IT WAS SO TOTALLY FANTASTIC!!!). Bumped into Shawn Ng. =D

Walked home afterwards.

In the evening, I took an MRT down to Simei to meet Min Ru and Winston. It was a surprise for Min Ru planned by Winston and me. =)

We had coffee at Starbucks, chilled a little and walked around East Point. Winston wanted to get his phone serviceD but Sony Ericsson was closing. He managed to get a webcam, though. We walked around, went to Pet Safari only to realise it has shrunk massively in size. THE HAMSTERS WERE SO FREAKIN CUTE!!!!!

Went over to Min Ru's place to chill. We sat at the bench by the pool. Chatted till it's about 1am. Min Ru went home. Winston sent me home. In his ever so cool Merc. E-class!

That idiot fooled me TWICE! But I had great fun =)

Tuesday. Went to Parkway with Mummy in the afternoon. Lunch was terrible. Some fried oyster omelette that brought Mummy and I to the toilet only minutes after the meal.

Got my Dorothy Perkins bag. Wasn't supposed to have it because Mummy thought it wasn't worth the money. And when Mummy thinks things ain't worth it, Daddy usually can't wait to agree. BUT when Mummy told Daddy about the bag, Daddy went "Why don't let her buy?!" HAHA thanks Daddy x) I love you hell loads.

We walked around a little more. Bought jeans at Giordano again. Had to have them altered though. So I couldn't bring it home right away.

Went home, slacked around a little, got changed, and we were out again. Back to Parkway. Because Mummy and I had a dinner appointment with Aunty Rui Wen. We ate at Swensen's. Had the banana crumble. Supposed to serve two but I ate the whole thing on my own. Also had the walnut bread sticks. Nice!

Collected my altered jeans, showed Mummy the oh-so-lovely ballerina ear rings, and home we went. We walked! Time to train Mummy for Australia =D.

Wednesday. Let's not talk about it.

FORGOT.

And did I forget to mention I cried for almost TWO HOURS and even cried myself to sleep? EVEN after praying to God?

I think I didn't.

Woke up with damn puffy eyes. With Mummy thinking I'm anorexic. Like SHUTUP, man, I'm not in the mood.

No, I'm not feeling any better. Not even after "a good night's rest". I still feel like crying. If not for Mummy's presence.

Oh and you know what? I BET no one would even bother read the second last post on what presents I want. I BET no one would even bother read my wishlist. Even if they actually bothered, I HIGHLY DOUBT anyone's gonna even get anything for me.

So much for having given so many presents to so many "friends".

WHAT A LIFE.

Why why. This is my 1000th post. And I'm not a single bit excited.

What a life I've led. Never had real friends till I was probably 16. Never had surprises in my whole life, not even once. Attempted suicide (ain't I just such a loser?). Once bought soft toys for myself because no one bought me any at that time. No one sent me off at the airport before. No one gave me goodbye presents before. I've been single for two freakin' years. My first boyfriend cheated on me. I didn't even like my second boyfriend. I made a fool of myself by giving up on ballet and going to Australia. No one received me at the airport before. Never had surprise parties/presents on my birthday before. I nearly lost my Greatgrandma and no-fucking-one told me anything about it until I came back to Singapore. I don't fucking have the strength everyone THINKS I have.

What a life. What a day. What a Valentine's Day.

AHEM.

OKAY PEOPLE. I'm leaving on the 19th of February. Which is another 6 days' time. Which is less than a week's time. And I'll so absolutely love you if you get me a gift.

Need ideas?

1. There's this GARFIELD CLOCK in NTUC. It's about S$34. The tail sways to the second. The eyes go left and right. The second hand is silent sweep. You'll be my favourite person of the year if you get me that gift.

2. You know the shop opposite Ig's Haven in Parkway? Right beside Bread Talk. Right beside the descending escalator. They have this ballerina ear rings. Around S$20. You'll be my best friend of the year if you get me that gift.

3. I'm sure all of you have heard of Popular. They sell books, cards, stationeries, everything. Ask for a "Pop Urban Notebooks". They have different designs. "Love", "Hope", "Joy", "Peace", "Faith and so on. About S$7 each. You'll be my most remembered friend if you get me either the "Love" or "Faith" one. Black with red words for the "Love" one, black with purple words for the "Faith" one.

4. LASTLY. Any Garfield or ballet-related collectibles will make you the friend of the year. =)

PICTURES!

I'm back! With pictures as promised! How cool!

On Thursday, Mummy, Wei Xian and I went down to Ikea. Mummy picked Wei Xian up from Chai Chee Secondary School's bus stop. And, NO, Wei Xian's not my boyfriend lol. Just a very very very very VERY good friend whom Mummy knows too.

So we went to eat first when we got there. And I got TEN meatballs!
DON'T THEY JUST LOOK SO MOUTHWATERING?! The jam and the sauce just went so well together!

We walked around Ikea a little too 'cos Mummy was looking for cutleries. She couldn't find what she thinks is good though. So we continued walking. And guess did I bump into????? CHRISTINE DARLING!!!!!!!!!!

She was pretty anxious about her O level results haha. Which was not necessary because SHE GOT 12 POINTS. And Huan Yuet darling got 11 points!!!!! I'm so proud of them man. Very.

I also bought a smoked salmon sandwich from Ikea's bistro. It wasn't as good as I expected it to be. Disappointment.

We walked over to Courts. Realised Courts was trying to be like Ikea. Restaurants and cafes and bistros. *shrugs* I still think Ikea is more original.

Courts wasn't customer friendly either. Had to go all the way up to the third floor just to enter. And the exit was at a different door also. Cutleries were HELL EXPENSIVE. Minimum S$300++ for ONE SET. Siao. Daylight roberry ar.

We didn't have anything to do afterwards so Mummy sent Wei Xian home. Mummy drove pass our ooooold house. A semi-d. Moved in only when I was 2 months old. Moved out when I was a year plus old. LOL.

Our side was rebuilt though. So it kinda defeated the purpose of driving there. But it's still ok la 'cos it was on the way to Wei Xian's house. So after dropping Wei Xian off at his house, we went home. TO BAKE! I was really really excited maaaaan haha.

I took out all the ingredients...

AND THE NEW MIXER!
The new mixer is really cool ok. The bowl turns on its own! This may not be new to some of you la but before that I was using this reeeaaally old mixer. Have to hold one. One hand hold mixer one hand hold bowl haha. But this one is just so different!

Ok so you beat the eggs, sugar, butter, peanut butter and flour.

And you chop the peanuts! Mummy used the rolling method though haha. Much faster. And fun-er. But I felt bad letting Mummy help me. It was supposed to be I bake for HER and DADDY. Lol. But nevermind la. We had quality time spent together x).

You mix the "chopped" peanuts into the cookie mixture! It really looked like the crunchy peanut butter man. Just crunchier than it should be lol.

You grease the baking tray...

And drop the cookie mixture tablespoon-ly/teaspoon-ly depending on your liking.

AND THEY SHALL GO INTO THE OVEN TO BAKE!

Aren't they just looovely?! Ok, yes, I know there's a half eaten one lol. Mummy and I were testing them.

My second batch was smaller though haha.

Mummy flipped them over and rebaked them because the 20-year-old oven only has heat from the top lol. This is the second batch by the way.

THIRD BATCH! It just gets smaller and smaller! =D

Just look at the different sizes man lol. The first batch is named the Australian cookie size, second batch is named the Singapore cookie size, third batch is named Chinese New Year cookie size HAHA. And yes, Australia's cookies are much bigger than Singapore's.

Just when you thought THAT was over.....

Surprise surprise!

I baked some heart-shaped ones too! But only 20!

Are you one of the special and lucky ones who got the heart-shaped cookie? =D Not everyone gets it I tell you! So far only Sherry and Eng Kwan got one each. Daddy and Mummy will get one each too. Grandma will get one too!

And here I present to you, Double Peanut Cookies!

Awesome awesome!

SHIT HAPPENS.

Alright. Shit happens. Let’s try all over again. Because I want to get this DONE and OVER with by 00:00am. YOU HEAR ME?!

Sunday. It was a church+ballet day. Went for church service in the morning. I WASN’T LATE! PHEW! Went to the youth service. Nate came over to sit with me. BUT when he found out it was Esther preaching that day, he went out when sermon started.

So I sat all alone and then Calvin Fong came up to me, asking me if I wanted to go over to the main service. So I went over and sermon just started. Right on time!

Sermon was about some cows. In the book of Exodus. I so loved the joke Rev. Christopher Chin mentioned about man, cows, dogs and monkeys. =D Too long to be repeated here so...ask me in person instead!

When service ended, I went home straight. Heated up an english muffin stuffed with two pieces of cheese. It was oooh sooo gooooood! Yummm! And when I was done, I left home for Parkway because I needed to go pick up the jeans I sent for alteration.

So I picked up the jeans at Giordano and started walking around. Went to Isetan and bought some cosmetics. Highlighter and eyeshadow from Clinique. A total of SIXTY BUCKS. But. Aiya. With that kinda brand, I’m not surprised lol.

Was planning to buy some dresses while I was at Parkway BUT it was SOOOOO crowded I gave up and went down to Watsons. Bought some manicure stuff. Base+top coat and a dark red coloured nail polish. Also bought a waterproof mascara which wasn’t very good but still comes in handy.

Went over to BreadTalk and bought a cranberry cream cheese and walked HOME.

Ate the cranberry cream cheese upon reaching home. When my parents got home, Mummy made me a cup of ginger water. It smelt like the glutinous rice ball’s ginger soup so I thought it’ll taste really nice so I took a BIG gulp and ACK my throat started BURNING. Daaamn spicy man! But it helped clear my tummy =).

Daddy sent me to Joo Chiat CC for ballet lessons at around 7.10. Everyone happily wore their soft shoes, stood at the barre and waited for class to start. Miss Chew saw and went, “Eh! I thought we didn’t do pointe work last week? Don’t come and cheat me ok! Go put on your pointe shoes!” Everyone sianded. Lol.

Ballet was still fun overall. Blisters, yes, inevitable. Two, nearly three. Thank goodness I didn’t push myself to the limits. It was still fun anyways! Loved it =).

Monday. Had a dental appointment in the morning =_=. The appointment was at 11.30am. Mummy went in first. Followed by me. Dr. Vincent was still as friendly as ever. Chatted with me about Perth and all. BUT he wants me to jam my teeth with my retainer. Fat hope.

Wanted to go shopping with Mummy at Parkway after the dental appointment BUT Mummy received a call from CID saying her no-criminal-record report is ready for collection. So Mummy sent me home and off she went to CID.

So I cooked instant kimchi ramen for lunch. Then at tea time I made two pancakes. The first one was a failure though lol. Came out in many many pieces HAHA. Second one was a success. At least it came out in a piece heh. It had strawberry jam filling. YUMMMMM!

Didn’t have dinner. So I was obviously hungry by around 8 plus. Had a slice of bread with strawberry jam. Lol.

OH did I forget to mention Germaine came over to my house to give me my birthday present lol. Yep, a little late haha but it’s the thought that counts so if you haven’t gotten me any presents! It’s never too late! There’s a wishlist down by the left to help you out! =D

Okok back to the present. She got me a pair of shoes. That was a size too big. Lol and a pair of ear rings. Thanks girl! =)

Tuesday! Had lunch with Daddy, his friends and Mummy. I’m sorry but I have to say this. LUNCH WAS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

The aunties were your typical wet market aunties, yakking away loudly. Daddy’s “singing teacher” was TALKING ON THE PHONE AT THE TABLE. Goodness. Have some TABLE MANNERS and WALK AWAY man.

The service was lousy too. Waitress was new and not well taught. Nearly knocked my head with the tray NUMEROUS TIMES.

Food? How about SUCKY. The prawns, chicken and fish were ALL too salty. Shark’s fin soup appeared FAKE. And when I was so excited about dessert, the AUNTIES requested for FRUITS. And MY DAD had to PAY FOR EVERYTHING. S$200++. No discount given for the change of dessert.

I’m not gonna entertain this bunch of aunties ever again man. I’ve already refused to entertain Daddy’s brother-in-law and Daddy’s uncle. These are the kind of way-beyond-over-board people you’d never want to meet. Trust me.

Thankfully, dinner was good. Met Simon at Werner’s. I had a cheese sausage while Simon had a grilled sausage. The waiter asked us if we wanted wine with our sausages. I’m UNDERAGED, DUDE! Lol. Gah I feel ooold.

After our dinner, we walked down to The Cheesecake Café only to find it closed. So we walked back up to Coffee Club for dessert.

Simon had this mudpie thingy that look reeeaaally sinful. I had this nougat ice cream thingy haha. It was really really good. Not too sweet. Just nice. Two thumbs up!

Simon and I chatted quite a bit throughout our dinner and dessert. We got to know each other more. Our interests, hobbies, families and future plans. I really enjoyed dinner. Really. And the sausage was reeeaaally good too!

Simon walked me home =_=. He didn’t have to larrr. I hope I didn’t tire him out or something heh.

Wednesday? Met Wei Xian at Plaza Singapura (PS). He said he wasn’t gonna be on time and I didn’t know how late he was gonna be so I ended up being the late one lol.

We ate at Carls Jr. I had a chili burger, Wei Xian had this fish burger. Lucky I took a single, not a double. If not I wouldn’t have had the chance to try the beef chili cheese fries. Which was AWESOME, mind you. =D

When we were done eating, we went to Carrefour because Wei Xian wanted to get water. He bought a HUGE bottle of mineral water and we went up to Golden Village.

We bought the tickets to The Queen, bought popcorns and in we went!

The movie was GOOD man. I’m glad I didn’t miss it. It gave me a deeper understanding on what the royal family is like. And I didn’t even know Princess Diana and Prince Charles were divorced! Until I watched the movie. Lol. The movie was really really good. If you haven’t watched it, GO WATCH IT WHILE YOU STILL CAN AT PS’ GOLDEN VILLAGE! Or you might regret! *winks*

After the movie, Wei Xian got a call from a friend. He had a dinner appointment with his friend lol so I just went to Carrefour, bought my FBT shorts and roasted but unsalted peanuts and off we went to take bus 14.

We took the express bus. Wei Xian got off along Mountbatten Road. I got off outside Christ Methodist Church (CMC) and walked to The Cheesecake Café, bought a caramel cheesecake and walked back home.

The caramel cheesecake was mmmmmmmmmm!!!!! AWESOME MAN! Fragrant cheese combined with sweet caramel. OH YEAH! =D

Another well spent day! =)

Will blog about today another day haha. WITH PICTURES! So do stay tuned! Haha. It was a really interesting day, by the way. ;)

AGAIN!

Yep! I'm back! Woah I don't know when was the last time I actually blogged daily. Heh. Ok here I go.

On Saturday, Mummy and I went to watch Stuttgart Ballet's ROMEO AND JULIET. The performance was MORE THAN JUST AWESOME. I loved their choreography. One of it's kind. Totally. And I'm glad to say I know most of the steps!

The performance had TWO intervals. Lol. After the performance, Mummy and I slowly made our way to Raffles City. We went to Robinsons first, though. Wanted to go check out the comforter sets but ended up looking at Pierre Cardin underwears =_=.

When it was about 6.30, we went to Plaza Market Cafe. Sat down and EAT!

There was a HUGE spread of food. From salads, to traditional peranakan food, to japanese food, to nonya food and to desserts! There were ngoh hiang, sambal kang kong, seafood pasta, dory fish, sashimi, sushis, makis, temakis, laksa, tom yam soup, popiah, sesame cheese cakes, chocolate mousse, strawberry short cake, mango pudding, durian pudding, pulut hitam, yam paste with ginko nuts, JUST TO NAME A FEW.

If you think the sambal kang kong you normally eat outside is SPICY, wait till you try THEIR sambal kang kong. You'll shoot through the roof. Really.

The dory fish was DE BEST. Cooked with some light cream sauce. With a tinge of pineapple taste. Awesome. Not to mention the dory fish was reeeaaally fresh.

Ngoh hiang was NOTHING compared to my Greatgrandma's ngoh hiang man. Really. Sad thing Greatgrandma can't make 'em no more. BUT MUMMY CLAIMS SHE KNOWS HOW TO!

Sashimi was not bad. Fresh. Loved the salmon and salmon belly the best. I didn't get to eat any sashimi while I was working so I ate to my content at the buffet!

Dessert was the killer. I had sesame cheesecake, mango pudding, some weird mango dessert in a cup, a very small and petite orange dessert, durian pudding, and yam paste with ginko nuts. Thank goodness I didn't eat the strawberry shortcake. Y'know why? 'Cos at the end of the meal, I was more than just bloated.

I went to the toilet and I just sat on the toilet bowl (with the cover on, of course) and stoned. I felt really really uncomfortable. I think I sat there for at least half an hour. Mummy paid the bill and came in to check me out. Told her I couldn't even stand up straight. Mummy suggested I go take a walk so...I did!

My tummy was more than just double it's original size I tell you. I felt really awful. We walked around Robinsons. Walked through the art stalls. Walked here and there. Tummy didn't feel any bit better. Told Mummy we'd better take a taxi home because I didn't want to end up puking in the bus/mrt.

The taxi driver was reeeally nice. She drove properly. Not like those old ah peks speeding here and there making your heart beat like there's no tomorrow. She even lent me her ru yi oil. Made me feel a little better.

When I got home, I just lay on the sofa and stoned for one whole hour and I'm up and alive again! Lol. Power. Heh.

I think if I didn't eat too much, that day would've been the best day ever, ever since I got back from Australia.

Alrighty. That's about it. Sunday will be blogged tomorrow. Tata!

TIME TO BLOG.

Ok I don't know if blogger has done anything about their posting but I'm not gonna risk it so nope, no pictures again.

Last Tuesday...I WENT OUT WITH NANCY! My colleague from J K Don haha. That cocky girl! We met outside Dhoby Ghaut MRT station. HSBC there. Walked over to The Cathay's Billy Bomber's. I bought the movie tickets already so yeah we went to eat.

We ordered this chicken thing. Roasted with honey or something lol I can't remember. AND cheeeeese fries! AND root beer float! She had root beer float too! We used the S$15 off coupon haha.

We walked back to Plaza Singapura. I bought popcorns. And we went in for Conversation With God.

That movie really reassured me about God's presence. About God bringing me through tough times. Awesome movie. If you really think you're going through shit and that God's not with you, watch that movie. Trust me.

After the movie we walked around Plaza Singapura. Went to lotsa different clothes shops because Nancy wanted to get formal wear. I browsed through the different shops with her looking at all the jackets. Saw something I like in Esprit. Haha.

At around 10, we walked over to Centrepoint because Nancy wanted to go to this shop buuut it was closed lol. So in the end we slacked at BreadTalk's Toast Box. She had a cup of tea. I listened to a few songs on her phone. At around...11? We left for home.

That girl's just sooo funny. She, like most people, gets so high when she's lack of sleep. Crazy person. Lol. I enjoyed my time with her =).

Another movie day on Wednesday! Met Wei Xian at Billy Bomber's at The Cathay. Yes, Billy Bomber's again, The Cathay again. Lol. Reason being Wei Xian wants to watch a movie at The Cathay at least once before he goes back to Perth.

So we used the 1 for 1 slab ribs coupon. The ribs was goooood. I loved the sauce. The ribs was soft too! Easy to cut and easy on the teeth too. AND I HAD ROOT BEER FLOAT AGAIN! Yayyy =D.

Before the movie started Wei Xian bought an ice cream. Those rectangular ones. Those child time ice cream! Lol. But his was this...green tea with glutinous rice thing. It looked quite interesting but I wasn't craving for ice cream. I was craving for something BAKED and sweet. I saw some suji biscuits and bought FIVE.

We watched Gridirono Gang. Woohoo! Nice movie! The Rock looked so cool in the movie. Like a really coooool fatherly figure. I wish Daddy was like him! Big and muscular and fun and motivational and everything! But naw I love Daddy the way he is x). The movie was reeeaaally good. And it's based on a true story! Awesome again!

I ate the 5 sujis during the movie. Was totally bloated by the end of it lol. We took but 14 and alighted at Katong. Wei Xian showed me the steak place. And then we continued walking.

I bought an oreo cheesecake from Carltex haha. I didn't let Wei Xian walk me all the way to the doorstep. Made him stop at the park connector so that he'd go take the bus.

I ate the oreo cheesecake at home. Was oh-kay only. The cheese didn't feel fresh. Not enough oreo taste in it. Gaha.

Did I mention how both of us were freeeeezing really badly in the cinema? LOL.

Thursday. Was supposed to meet Calvin Fong. But I happily forgot to bring my phone so I didn't know Calvin Fong wanted to delay the meeting time so I waited for an hour and then went to eat in Il Cade De Roma.

They had really interesting cups. Hard to explain lol when I finally upload the pictures you'll know why. Much to my disappointment, the pasta wasn't very nice. Not enough sauce I'd say.

HOWEVER they had really friendly staffs. I don't know if it's because I was the only person there or if it's really because they're really friendly. They occassionally came over to chat with me.

After the meal, I took an MRT home. While walking home, I suddenly got very emo. And that emo feeling affected me for the next few days. Up till now.

On Friday morning, Mummy and I walked to Marine Terrace. Was planning to get my jeans altered BUT the lady doesn't want to alter them for me anymore 'cos she had too many clothes to alter 'cos of Chinese New Year. So...no choice lor.

I bought some banana cake thing from Bengawan Solo and then Mummy and I walked over to East Coast Road to take bus 14 down to Bedok to collect my spectacles. When we reached, WE SAW BUS 31. I knew one of the parkway buses goes down to that area! I just didn't know which. =P I collected my spectacles, Mummy paid and we took bus 31 down to Parkway.

At Parkway, I went to Giordano to get my jeans altered. Then went over to Isetan.

Had a facial appointment on at Shiseido. I liked their facial. NO SQUEEZING OF PORES. I remember how I used to always end up crying during normal facial sessions because of the squeezing of pores. Heh.

I fell asleep during the facial. Jumped awake when the lady tried to do shoulder massage for me. I felt so ticklish I started to giggle and "siam" lol. Overall? I loved the facial.

After the facial, Mummy bought some of her facial products. Saw a few nice shoes. But we "didn't have time". We went all the way up to Aussino to check out the comforter sets. They didn't mention the thread count and the designs weren't say very nice. "No wonder they're on sale" says Mummy. LOL.

We went down to Esprit because I wanted to get the top I saw the other day at Plaza Singapura. At the cashier, I had this lucky dip thing and I got an 8% discount. So cool! =D

Next we went to the customer service counter. For lucky draw. WA LAO we spinned the wheel like...NINE TIMES?! Super a lot of stuff to take la. Two tissue box covers, gazillion ang paos, a sheep stuffed toy, a S$5 shopping voucher and a S$10 shopping voucher. LOL. After that, we went home to prepare for dinner.

Dinner was at JURONG. Crazy man. Walked around the area before going up to the restaurant. My Godfather was there, Daddy's two other tour mates, my cousin, Jessica, and a couple (the lady was friends with Daddy's two other tour mates and the man was friends with Daddy lol).

We had yu sheng. ABALONE yu sheng. Yummm. Then cold dish. Then shark's fin soup. Then fish. Then crispy chicken. Then eu mian. Then YAM PASTE WITH GINKO NUTS. But the yam paste wasn't very nice. Not fragrant enough I'd say. BUT overall the dinner was AWESOME and SPLENDID!

Went home satisfied after dinner. x)

Will blog about my weekend another time!

Gah.

Just for your information, there'll be no pictures in this post. So be prepared before you go on reading. Heh.

Monday. Went to a lot of different banks with Mummy. First it was POSB. Because we rushed out of the house, I didn't manage to have any breakfast. So when Mummy was queuing up, I went to buy waffle from the cake shop I used to always eat waffle from since young =D.

Closed my junior account, opened a joint account with Mummy, went upstairs to buy bankdraft. Then we walked over to UOB. While Mummy was queuing, I went to buy a cheese pancake and peanut pancake from Jollibean.

When Mummy was done, we walked over to Roxy Square 'cos Mummy wanted to get her air tickets dealt with at the tour agency. Then Mummy and I walked down to Singapura Finance. Which kinda puzzled me because I thought we could cross over to Katong Laksa first.

After placing a fixed deposit at Singapura Finance, Mummy walked over to 328 laksa. NO WONDER LA. I refused to eat that and insisted on eating at the original laksa place which is the one under the overhead bridge. So we walked all the way back haha.

Yep, the original laksa is actually the one under the overhead bridge, not 328 laksa at all. Mummy grew up in Katong area so she knows BEST.

After the laksa, Mummy and I walked to Joo Chiat's Hong Leong Finance to close an account. Then Daddy came to pick us up and the three of us went to Parkway together. Daddy to visit the doctor's, Mummy and I to do grocery shopping.

I OFFICIALLY DECLARE NTUC AND GIANT THE LOUSIEST SUPERMARKETS. They only have the SIZE but lack the variety. They not only don't have frozen fruits, they don't have canned berries. L-O-U-S-Y. Cold Storage may be small in size and a tinsy weensy bit more expensive BUT they have the variety. Cold Storage wins!

I ran up and down in search of all the ingredients I needed for baking. Went from Cold Storage to Giant to NTUC back to Cold Storage then to Giant again then to NTUC's pick-up point. I sure burnt lots of calories.

When I got home, I baked. Parents weren't very happy with me baking on a Monday. They prefer me baking on Thursdays so that my part time maid can clean up the next day.

I made raspberry trifle. Everything except the gelatin part was successful. Mummy thinks gelatin is different from jelly crystals. Whatever la. Lol.

Alright. That's all for now. I'm not feeling very well. Will continue blogging tomorrow. Till then!
