2004 LAVENDER DESSERT WINE

In the heart of Western Australia's world-renowned Marfaret River wine region is the family owned Cape Lavender. As our name suggests, our estate and vineyards are set amongst fields of lavender.

After years of experimentation we've discovered how to control the inclusion of Lavendula Angustifolia (English Lavender) in the wine making process to create the worlds first Lavender Dessert Wine.

The subtle lavender inclusion melds perfectly with fruit aromas of dried apricot and honeysuckle giving the impression of an aromatic potpourri in all its complexity. The palate has a rich mouth filling unctous texture with complex flavours of citrus, dried fruits, chopped herbs and a hint of floral support from the lavender.

A quintessential Cape Lavender wine experience to be enjoyed on accasions too numerous to mention.

Was planning to bring it to a BBQ on Saturday but apparently the BBQ's cancelled so...I get to enjoy it all by myself! =D
