AWWW!

There you go! I love this picture, really. =)

Past few days have been good. I don't have the time to blog about them in detail (will do so another time) but all I can say is it really feels good to be able to drink without any restrictions. Call me a kid just wanting to drink yadah yadah yadah but I just love to drink. You can ask Daddy for reassurance.

The two cups of wine on the 23rd didn't count since I wasn't officially 18 then. But I had two cups of wine at Shawn's place, one red one white. Then two cups of choya just a while ago at Grandma's place. Relax choya~

Ok! I'll try and blog again soon! Till then!

M.I.A

Reasons why I have not blogged for three days. 1) I've been horribly busy. Dinners, lunches, everything! 2) I've got so many pictures I got a fright myself. I uploaded the pictures but was too afraid to touch the post again till NOW. Heh. But anyways I found out I forgot to blog about the Christmas Eve dinner at Kezia's place.

Woah I loved the pig. The ham was pretty salty but the bread (the pig, in other words) neutralised the saltiness. My favourite was the olive rice (can't be seen in any of the pictures, sorry). Yum yum! If I do get to work at Kezia's aunt's cafe, I might wanna learn it from her. *slurps*

Elenar was there too! And Kezia's aunt's and late mum's friends/classmates and their offpsrings like the two boys and Omela. We watched tv. Also had ice cream (the summer berries and cream was HEAVENLY!). Didn't count down, though. Only when it was midnight then we wished each other Merry Christmas!

So I've blogged about Christmas. Now MY BIRTHDAYYYYY! Didn't have dinner at Indulgz in the end because it was CLOSED till 27th afternoon! Tsk. One bad thing about having birthdays one day after Christmas. But it's OH-KAY 'cos we went over to Bugis and had SEAFOOD!

It's open by Jack's Place, called Seafood Harvest.

Handsome Daddy and beautiful Mummy! I like that picture of Daddy. He's another person who's easy to take shots of. Not too fidgety. Unlike MUMMY! Haha ok la Mummy's quite ok too. Just not this shot.

Merry Christmas! It's still Christmas, by the way. 8 more days of Christmas after today!

Daddy's lobster brisque (correct?), the orange one, and Mummy's clam chowder.

GARLIC BREAD! Nyum nyum~

I had crayfish and chicken baked rice! With thai sauce beneath that layer of cheese!

I can't survive without tabasco sauce evertime I have baked rice. Mmmmm!

Daddy's sirloin (I think) steak with mushroom sauce.

Mummy's crayfish and steak. Her crayfish was very QQ! Fresh! And I always love how Jack's Place serves the sour cream, spring onions and bacon bits for your potatoes haha but my baked rice didn't have potato.

*Munch munch munch munch munch* Dinasour family busy eating.

I prefer long candles. But it's ok. Still very sweet looking.

PRETTY! It's cherry, whipped cream, a thin layer of chocolate ice cream, thick layer of strawberry ice cream, thin layer of chocolate ice cream, less thick layer of banana ice cream and cookie base. Served with bananas and some nuts. Topped with chocolate and strawberry syrup. Was good! Although kinda sweet.

THIS, despite the nice decoration and all, was a HUGE disappointment. Homemade they claimed but terrible. I saw another table order TWO of this. They're in for double disappointment. Oh, it's apple pie, by the way. Skin was too thick and soggy. Apple feeling was oooooook la. Ice cream not bad. Not too sweet.

Things only Daddy will think of and do.

*Burp* We were all exploding by the end. But the main course was satisfying!

We then walked around Bugis for a bit. OHOH did I tell you what happened during dinner?

**********

Mummy: So. What do you want for your birthday present?
Me: A CAMERA! THE CANON 400D ONE!
Daddy: Siao.
Mummy: Wait long long.
Me: Or I know! I said I wanted to buy my own legally purchased alcohol!
Daddy: Mai siao la. Buy something that won't perish. I give you S$xxx. Go buy gold. Necklace or bracelet. Must be yellow gold ar!
Mummy: I give you another S$xxx.

**********

So we walked around Bugis for a bit in hope to see something nice. Daddy said 18ct gold is not pure gold. He insists 916 (???). So in the end my parents bought shirts from Bossini (Which they wore the very next day without washing! Copy me!) haha! Random. And so I went to take mrt to Orchard to meet the Perthians while my parents drove home.

I met the Perthians at Taka. Coffee Club. Where I had my first try of green apple and mojito soda. I've heard so much of mojito and have never tried till that night. It was ubber GOOD! And they started piling presents in front of me, without any bags. MEAN!

In the end they passed me a PRINCESS paper bag. Which I denied to be one. And they were like "you sure?" I got the point and immediately said I am and held tight on that paper bag. You wanna know the presents I got? CONTINUE READING! Wahaha. Sorry. =P They're towards the end!

We left coffee club realising we didn't take any pictures. I took a picture of my favourite Christmas tree of the year.TAH-DAH! I love the ribbons! We managed to take a picture together la. I'll post it the next time I blog ^^.

Took mrt back with Wei Jun and Yihui (I think I was too big a lightbulb but I hope they were ok) to Simei, where Yihui lives. And Yihui drove Wei Jun and I back haha. In the end Yihui still had to go home alone.

THURSDAY! Took an MRT down to Kovan. Really interesting taking the purple line. The train was brand new, the voices behind the speakers too. WHY DON'T WE GET THAT IN THE GREEN AND RED LINES HUH?!

Anyways. Faith's mum picked me up from Kovan mrt station's taxi stand. While waiting there was this old lady complaining to me how she had to walk so far to cross to the opposite side of the road. I suggested to her the mrt underpass. Haha. You should see how her face changed instantly. Felt satisfying helping her =).

Faith's mum drove Faith and I to Mishi's place. Nearly got lost! Haha but all turned out well. Thanks, Aunty Lucy!

We were greeted by Jean when we reached haha before Mishi managed to get to the door and greet us =D. We had Yoshinoya for lunch. Faith and I both had the beef bowl. I had chrysanthemum tea! Slurps! And the mango puree with mango pieces and pomelo. I have to be honest. The one I tried in KL was better. BUT this one was still good!

We then played with Jean haha. And I took pictures! They all love to do that. I didn't do that.

*Bleah*

Unintentionally the focus ended up on Jean's water bowl.

My favourite picture!

*Bleah* again.

We left Mishi's place at around 1.45pm. Faith went home on her own by bus while Mishi and I took a bus down to Toa Payoh MRT together. I took a train down to Orchard while Mishi met Charles...somewhere I can't remember haha.

I reached Orchard at 2.30 and Mummy was only gonna reach at around 3.30. So I decided to walk around myself first. When she FINALLY reached, we started our hardcore shopping at Isetan Scotts.

Isetan Scotts was having its card holder sales for only a day and so it was naturally crowded. If you haven't known, Singaporeans are experts at sales shoppings. I emphasise on EXPERTS. But Mummy and I only went there because our very expensive, erm, underwear (by Triumph) were on very good offer. Buy 3 get one free, 59.90 instead of 79.90. And you see, we still got Singapore blood in us so we naturally need to be a bit more...kiasu.

The queue was crazy but was still survivable. I managed to get what I want. We didn't bother check out the kitchen ware area. We tried looking at bags but just barely after 5 minutes we starting to make out way out. We could've ran if there was a clear path.

We went to Taka! For dinner. Went back to Coffee Club 'cos I didn't manage to try their food on my birthday night. There was a queue but it was reasonable. I just wasn't happy with the fact that there were clearly seats inside but they didn't serve the queue till very long later. Meanwhile, to keep myself occupied, I took out my camera!I still love this tree with or without lights!

So we got served and got our seats. Ordered and got our food!Mummy had lobster pasta ok! Wa lao! Seafood for two days in a row! The lobster wasn't as fresh as the crayfish at Seafood Harvest but it was still good! The pasta was awesome.

Mine's dory fish and risotto pattie baked with mushroom sauce. Wait. I don't know if it was baked but I sure know the two dory fish fillets were deep fried and so was the risotto pattie. But the mushroom sauce was just irresistable!

I love pink meat! Just like how I love some redness in my steaks!

Mummy drank iced coffee. I found it quite diluted but Mummy thought it was ok. *shrugs* She added syrup, though. 'Cos it was bitter.

I had green apple and mojito soda again! It's just too good I had to drink it again. Really. You should try it. It's now my favourite drink there. After dinner, we continued shopping! Wow! Haha. We shopped at Robinson because Mummy wanted her handbag. Then we went on to John Little. Then finally home. PHEW. I was dead tired by then after a whole day of walking, including to Mishi's place!

Ok. Presents time! Actually I included my whole garfield soft toy collection in this too but it's oh-kay! ^^

They got me a garfield keychain which I already had two so now I have triplets! I'm already using one of them as my keychain.

They also got me a garfield hugging a heart which Aunt Siew Luan also got me and so now I have twins. They say I can bring one of them to Australia! Sounds good!

I bought this at Cineleisure when I was out with Yiqing. They also have one with blue heart-shaped specs. I saw that one at Tampinese Mall.

The one in green shirt was from Aunt Siew Luan last year. The one in blue shirt was from Perth Royal Show!

Supposedly decoratives for my birthday cake last year but they forgot to put it on my cake so I could just bring it home like that without washing them.

The Christmas Garfield I saw last year at Hallmark I think but I didn't manage to get it 'cos I don't know why but I got this in KL and I was very very happy when I got it.

This was Hallmark's ty Garfield this year. I got one at Junction 8 when I was with Mummy ('cos she refused to buy it for me!) and the Perthians got me one too! Haha Mummy now I got too many Garfields for you to handle.

They also got me a pretty little December Princess! Second picture's focus was supposed to be on the word December but somehow the focus just wasn't strong enough. Oh wells.

Shawn got me this! Thank you! Very cute! JoshC and Jeremy tried to make me say the letter "O" to make me look like the cat but i refused haha! I also found out Shawn has a panda one in his house.

The CANDY CANE was from DAVID TANG. Lol. Funny guy. The figurine's from Ikea. HAHA okok it's from Jeremy. Thanks a lot Jeremy! Very very very very very pretty! He said the other two designs (see wishlist) were all sold out. Unbelievable!

The mug/flask Faith and Eunice got me. Thank you! Nice and pretty in green! And Amen to that bible verse!

Eufei and Joan got me a baking sheet in solid orange haha! I know now! Rough side for kneading dough so it was slid, smooth side for baking on tray in oven! Wow! Mummy's baking sheet can't even bake cookies! Thank you thank you!

They also had a hard time completing this birthday card haha but it's ok. I told them all the effort put into drawing the Garfield head has made Garfield fatter hehe. Sorry for the shakey picture. Thanks a lot!

Not forgetting the cute little rat they got me. I LOVE IT!!!!! It's so uber cute it gets to sit with all my Garfields!

"Dear cute little rat in maid costume, could you make me delicious ratatouille?"

Haha anyways. Yesterday I went out with Mummy to Parkway 'cos I wanted to get my present from Poh Heng. It was a tough decision 'cos there were a few nice bracelets. Some made me look ooooold some made me look like a big baby. I decided on one that's really nice and simple. Love it! I had it on my right wrist immediately. Refused to place it back in its box.

We then went to Princess Jewellery. The boss is Aunty Soo's student! If I'm a teacher and I have a student who managed to open a jewellery shop like that I'll feel really satisfied. Very fulfilling. Anyways I managed to buy myself a pair of diamond ear rings. They were the cheapest they had. I just wanted something I can wear day in day out, shower in shower out. =P

My parents' presents for me were of great significance. I really didn't ask anything from them. The camera was only a dream. But this gold bracelet that's resting comfortably on my wrist, it kinda signifies my first stage of adulthood. I'm 18 now. Can't vote yet but still considered an adult.

With the car Daddy's gonna get me, I have to say Daddy's really spending a lot on my adulthood. I'm very prod of my gold bracelet and diamond ear rings. They'll remind me of my adulthood from time to time. I've never gotten a jewellery I liked or cherished this much.

Thank you, Daddy and Mummy. You guys are awesome. Awesome beyond belief. Thank you so so much! *hugs and kisses*
