FIRST MOVIE IN SG Yesterday night...I went out with...
NANCY LOVE! Aha I find these two photos very contrasting. Second one's a candid shot using my phone. =D We watched Enchanted together. It was h-i-l-a-r-i-o-u-s. I was probably the only one who laughed the most at the chipmunk. Okok, no spoilers here but anyways. It's nice with a funny twist. Worth the watch. EH. Talking about the movie. I haven't returned Nancy the ticket money! Oh crap. After the move we went to Thai Express in City Link for dinner. She had some tom yum with glass noodles. She was disappointed when she realised glass noodles == tung hoon. Haha! I had tung hoon balls. The....weird vege taste was too strong. But other than that, it was a great new taste. We also shared prawn fritters! I love the chilli sauce. Nice, sweet and...sticky. We continued walking around Raffles Place. Walk walk walk shop shop shop. Actually we didn't buy anything lol but when we walked pass the food junction and I mentioned the word..."dessert", both of us charged in!She had dau suan (she claims that it's not nice ahaha) while I had my bubor chacha. THEY HAD THE TAPIOCA THINGY! Only three ar. But better than nothing. And this bubor chacha tastes much better. They added this...syrup to the...condensed milk? I guess so. We also had a gift exchanging session at the start lol. Nancy got me a bu dao wong which...FALLS! Lol ok la the surface wasn't flat. She also got me those Beijing Olympics keychains (that box with my name below the "humpty dumpty"). I'm not exactly a big fan of the Olympics, especially not Beijing, but the keychains were pretty! I even had a hard time trying to choose a favourite one. Lol! I bought a cup of green tea chiller before we took a bus back home. I was exploding by the time I board the bus! I got home satisfied, though. Finally watched a movie and finally drank a green tea chller. And it's from GLORIA JEAN'S! The Gloria Jean's in Australia has faced-out their green tea chiller. =\ ANYWAYS. Here's a picture of me. Credits to Nancy! (For some reason I look like I've got double chin here!!!)

FOOD, MORE FOOD!Haha ok, no, my phone isn't exactly edible but I thought I'd upload some pictures of my phone. I love it so dearly!! I couldn't bare taking out the screen protector that came with/on the phone when I bought it till I actually got a pouch for it.Anyways. Mummy cooked char siew on Monday. Haven't had this for a year! It was delicious without doubt!
Mummy and I went down to Singapore Dance Theatre (SDT) at For Canning Park yesterday and I have to say what I saw really...made me awestruck. A group of ballerinas were dancing their hearts out in a very decent looking studio! The studio wasn't anything like those nice big clean studios you normally see on screen (or even at Community Centres) but it looked used and cozy and STEADY AR!We talked to the people about the complimentary ticket we wanna claim and the extra ticket we wanted to buy. We were also told that the bunch of ballerinas were, no, ARE professional dancers who dance EVERYDAY from 10am-5pm and at that moment they were doing their warm up.I took a look at the clock and it was about 11.15am. WARM UP FOR AN HOUR PLUS?! And their warm ups were actually proper dance steps. Unlike what I usually did for warm up (stretchings). So after we left SDT, I asked Mummy, "So..after I graduate..I have the rights to do anything I like right?? Since I already got a degree by then." And she said it was totally up to me.As we continued walking in silence, I realised that...dancing as a career has always been my dream since I was actually 3 years old. And I'm totally fine with dancing without a pay. I mean, to even be given the chance to dance as a career is more than just a privilege. I really hope that I'll be allowed to take up dance classes at SDT and one day be part of the SDT team. Back up dancing is good enough, in fact.Okok back to where I was. Mummy and I went over to Plaza Singapura for lunch. We went to...KYOTO SABEI...uh. Ajisan? I think. Haha can't exactly remember.Mummy had Omu Rice (the second picture) while I had a plate of pork omelette and a plate of salmon sushi. Nice! What I did to my soy sauce for my sushi haha. Wasabi added.I especially loved their dessert! We had matcha something. Cannot remember also =P. Mummy liked it too! I super love the chewy chewy thing. There were two. One in green the other in pink. YUM!We continued shopping around Plaza Singapura. MUMMY GOT A NEW PHONE! She got a purple coloured E65! It looked really pretty! I also got some clothes from M)phosis. Love them love them! After shopping up and down Plaza Singapura for a while (and buying a very disappointing phone pouch), we decided to have coffee. And I brought Mummy to The Coffe Connoisseur!
That sums up yesterday. Going out with Dai Yu later. Oh ya. I'm gonna visit KL for 2-3 days this weekend. Let me know if you guys want anything from KL k? Don't be shy don't be shy! =D
I saw a glimpse of my dream. A dream I had since I was 3. Hopefully it's part of my future.

HAPPY 29th ANNIVERSARY =)Went Christ Methodist Church (CMC) for service this morning. Attended the youth service 'cos Tootface was playing the piano there =D. I wanted to just sneak in right before the service to avoid anybody's notice but at the end of the service everyone came up to me. The response wasn't anything like what I expected. Really.Waited for Diana, Tootface and Jon for lunch but in the end Nelson and I had to make our own ways to Parkway and join the rest for lunch. I stuck to my Ban Mian stall and had beehoon kueh. Classic. Slurps! Also walked around Borders for a while before making my own way home 'cos my dear parents were waiting for me to go Grandma's house together.Dinner was CURRY! I reached Grandma's place at around 3.15pm la. Helped her cook this and that. I mean, no, I didn't cook one whole proper dish at all but I just helped her when she needed to chop this or that, or tasting =D. Dinner was ultimate shiok. Grandma's curry's still lagi best. Gotta learn how to make the paste from scratch from Grandma before I go back to Perth again! The surprise happened after dinner.
Daddy and Mummy's 29th wedding anniversary! They never saw it coming haha. Kudos to Aunt Siew Khim =). Forgot to return her the cake money! She also forgot to pass me my muffins haha! Fair deal =P.
I have to say...God's timing is ultimately the best and perfect. He made my parents' birthdays both fall during my school's study break period and so they can come over during that period and three of us can celebrate it together (although it hasn't happened these two years but it sure will during the next two).He made my parents' wedding anniversary and my birthday fall at the end of the year so that we can celebrate these occassions together as a family back home here in Singapore.God is definitely without doubt worthy of all my glory, praise and worship. Thank you, Heavenly Daddy. =)

ORCHARD ROAD, FINALLY!Went shopping with Mummy this afternoon. We wanted to go down to Tampinese Mall at first due to the HUGE amount of sales and discounts but we realised Ngee Ann City had some handphone offer and so we headed down to Orchard Road instead. It's been sooo long since I last when Orchard Road man! Probably more than 4 months. Felt so good, ignoring fellow Singaporeans' defensive walking (not drivings), to be back there again. We lunched at one of the stalls n the foodcourt. Some pasta place =).
We didn't exactly reserve the table but the waiter just placed it there once we sat down. Lol weird. Mummy had creamy chicken and mushroom while I had dory fish fillets with baked risottto. I loved my baked risotto! Plus more cheese and tobasco sauce. YUM!Mummy also bought two durian pancakes (one for herself, the other for Daddy) before we left Ngee Ann City. Searched high and low for another Singtel dealer (the one at Ngee Ann City was pure madness). Ended up at the Singtel building behind the Somerset MRT station and I got my SAMSUNG U600! It's RED, baby!!!!!I dare say it's by far the sexiest phone ever! Or at least...the sexiest phone I've had. Just paid Daddy back the S$148+2. S$150 was paid by trading in the seldom used 6681. So in the end I didn't need to pay any extra. All was paid by red packet money and trading in. Yay!

UPDATE! Was at Parkway doing some shopping with Mummy just now and I bumped into Lucas! He was working at Samuel and Kelvin. Haha hey all the best for your results =). Went out with Tootface last night for some Japanese curry. I loved it! Their udon was really nice and chewy. Chewy chew chew =D. The restaurant was somewhere near Raffles City (don't ask me where exactly 'cos you know I haven't actually been in Singapore for 4 whole months). We then came back to Siglap area for cheesecakes at The Cheesecake Cafe. I had rum n raisin cheesecake. The alcohol taste was shiok! Tootface had almond pistachio cheesecake 'cos it was the cheesecake of the day. But he regretted 'cos he didn't like the almond taste. Me neither! OH YA Tootface has the phone I want to get! Samsung U600! I want the red one. But it's $298 for my plan! =( Anybody wanna donate some money? *grins sheepishly*

Anyways. I'm here to blog about what I did with Mummy in Australia after my exams.
Immediately after my Java exam (I wonder if anyone went in as unprepared as I was heh), Mummy, Aunty Lucy and I went to Fremantle together. Shopped around a bit at the Freo market, had lunch (shown in picture above) at Gloria Jean's.
That very night I cooked porridge with Ikea's Swedish meatballs. Mummy was in love with my porridge's texture =D. The rotten porridge! Faith passed me the flower from Mishi =).Thankew Mishi! Saturday morning I went Subiaco with Mummy. Walked around Subi market but didn't buy much. Bought more at Woolworth. Christmas shopping =). Also had lunch at one of the cafes. Coffee wasn't very good but our food were good. Her banana bread was seriously fragrant. My pasta wasn't too creamy and Mummy liked it too =D. That very night we had dinner with Wei Xian a his family, minus his second brother. Ate at Kim Chee House. Their BBQ and steamboat's still the best in Perth. Loved it! But their bibimbab was disappointing. Oh wells. What I got from Freo market! Wasn't as great as I expected, though. =\ Went city shopping on Sunday. Monday was car searching day. Before we even starting we were both hungry like crap haha. Had sandwich at some cafe in Victoria Park. Our sandwiches were the same except that Mummy's was beef schnitzel. Mine's chicken schnitzel with extra avocado and cheese. We both loved their chips. Nice and crunchy on the outside, soft on the in. Coffee was good too! Hot and strong =). Our breakfast at the airport. Quite disappointing but oh wells. We didn't actually want to go Dome again lol. Home sweet home! =)signing off~DE XIN
