Looking at all the birthday celebrations around me. I don't know. Honestly, I'm prepared to expect nothing this year. And maybe the next. And maybe forever. I mean, it's normal already, isn't it? Year after year. Yeah. I'm numb about birthdays already. Birthdays. Who cares? Mine's not important.

AGAIN?!

You'll know why "AGAIN?!" towards the end of this post haha. Before this I was saying to myself "I'M ONLY GONNA BLOG WHEN I GET ALL THE PICTURES FROM EVERYONE ELSE!!!" but after 3 days, receiving nothing, I think I'll just get down to blogging with the limited pictures I have. You'll know who not to blame if you don't like the pictures. =P

Last Thursday was Jeremy Low's birthday! Shawn, Gary, Brady, Adam, Laigono, Clarence, Sam, Jeremy, Lucas/YiQuan, Ashlyn, Alicia, Jorine, Nian Chee and I went to Outback Jacks for Jeremy's birthday dinner =D.Cheesy fries. Not bad. But its do-able at home.

My qualude. Was really good! I remember there was frangelico, cream....maybe vodka? Can't remember! But I totally loved it!

ALL OF US (except Clarence) ordered the 1kg steak challenge! Shawn, Gary, Brady, Adam and Liagono took the challenge, the rest of us shared. Guess who won? Not telling yet ;).

Medium rare. Right. So tender. NOT! Wa lao. Slicing it was tiring. Chewing it was torturing. Two thumbs down. Sauce wasn't anything fanciful either.

Birthday boy! Dammit. All out to irritate me. =P Ok la! Happy belated birthday! 4th time already!

BRADY WON THE CHALLENGE! SURPRISE SURPRISE!

Ashlyn and Jorine ordered their brownie. The brownie was DRY, the chocolate didn't taste like chocolate and the strawberry syrup tasted so weird. Another two thumbs down.

Overall verdict? I'm not going back there ever again.

After that we had dessert at Gino's.Shawn, Brady and Gary shared this piece of chocolate cake. They gobbled it down pretty...fast. Haha.

My berry and custard crumble. Not bad!

Jeremy and Adam shared this chocolate baked cheesecake. It was good! But they couldn't finish it =_=.

Despite the great cakes, their service was crap, though. Twice I went there, twice their service was crap. =\

LAST FRIDAY! Was Alicia's birthday =D.Somehow, don't ask me why, my head is tilted so weirdly. =S

Birthday girl and her cakey! =D Love love!

On Sunday, I went to the beach again (hence the "AGAIN?!"). This time, with more people. Adam, Garreth, Jim, Ben, Dimas, Jeremy Tan, Alethia, Isabella, Eunice Teo, Li Jin, Jeremy Low, Leonel, Wilson, Stanley, and Francis. That small head in the small wave? Jeremy Tan! HAHA!

Zion's very own baywatch. ;)

*chompchompchomp*

Spartan Asian model with a melon in his hand. Erm. That's according to Eugene.

You do NOT know how many times Jeremy Low and Adam flipped just to get a good shot of them flipping but I didn't managed to. As you can tell, they were not synchronized! =P

If you can't even balance your bum on the board, Jim, how do you expect yourself to do it in the water??? Wahaha.

16 of us. Not all are in this picture haha. Most of us were sunburnt. Including yours truely, scratching like a mad monkey.

24 more days! Nancy! Watch out!!!

GOD'S BUTTERFLY

Remember the time where I sprained my ankle but yet I still perservered and danced for Search For A Star?

Now, remember the time where I had three assignments due on a Friday and I found out my exam timetable was pretty crap?

Daddy left an offline message for me one morning while I was still in bed. He reminded me of my perserverance despite having sprained my ankle. He told me to take that perserverance and face the educational problems I have.

I burst into tears instantly.

Other than God, Daddy and Mummy (and Frances) are the only people who understand how I'd do anything for dance. They understood my love for dance. Mummy wanted me to be a pianist but she knew it was impossible (and hence she let me give up when I failed my grade 8 exam hehe). Daddy doesn't quite like me wasting money on CD albums or concerts but he never complains whenever I request to buy tickets for ballet performances or go for dance classes.

My point is? I recently made a decision to let God build me up intensely for a period of time. It's only been a few days and trust me, it's not as easy as it seems. I don't know what plans God has for me, with the exam period coming up and me currently facing some personal problems. But hey, I'm not going to give up.

I'm going to take the perserverance I had for dance, together with God's strength in my weakness, to overcome this period of build-up. I sound like a website going through maintainance haha but it's about time. I hope I'll come out a stronger girl. I was a caterpillar, refusing to undergo metamorphosis and I hope I'll come out as a beautiful butterfly, God's butterfly. =)

LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE?

Hah nah I ain't no Little Miss Sunshine. Apparently my ushering leader, Miss Janice Chia, thinks I'm like Little Miss Daredevil. Lol that aside, I WENT TO THE BEACH TODAY!The sun was nice and sunny with slight breezes. Perfect weather! Garreth's GTI measured 35 degrees at one point when we were on our way back for lunch. Madness!

A while back, before my series of hoo-haas (they haven't ended by the way), I went down to the Perth Royal Show with Adam on a Friday afternoon (03-10-2008) before a few of my other cell members and cell leader joined us in the night. Here are some firework shots =).
Rest of the photos here!
